VDIS10051 Modelling Interiors
Credit Points 15
Modelling Interiors takes students through the 3D modelling process in defined stages, firstly reviewing information about the design brief and proposed solution. Then, using the features of computer-aided design (CAD) applications, students produce models and extract two dimensional (2D) and three dimensional (3D) drawings and documentation in accordance with all standard practice notations and drawing protocols.
Students learn skills and knowledge required to apply the elements and principles of design to manipulate three dimensional (3D) interior space and form in response to a design brief. This involves the observation and analysis of a range of complex spatial typologies and a process of exploration and refinement to develop a design solution.
