This module focuses on two units of competency; BSBHRM405 Support the recruitment, selection and induction of staff
and BSBHRM512 Develop and manage performance management processes. The two units address different human resources
functions of a manager. From selecting and recruiting staff and the development and implementation of performance
management processes. Students are exposed to the different tasks involved in planning and conducting both recruitment and selection processes as well as the basic elements of inducting new personnel once the selection decision has been made. Students will also explore different approaches to performance management and ways of improving employee performance.
